The Battleship line was added in August 2016, and the Destroyer line was released in December 2016. Their actual tech tree, in form of a Cruiser line, was added in October 2015, just a month after release of the game. The German Kriegsmarine / Kaiserliche Marine is the fifth faction to be introduced into World of Warships, with their first ship being the tier VIII premium battleship Tirpitz. Warships attributed to the Imperial German Navy (Kaiserliche Marine) and the Nazi Germany Navy (Kriegsmarine) in World of Warships.
